Paralaksa is Wojciech Mazolewski (bass guitar) also known from Pink Freud, Baaba or Ludzie and Adam Kaminski (keyboards). At the beginning, they were part of yass movement, played avantgarde jazz and tried to work with experimental line-ups (two bass-guitars, bassoon, keyboards). After their eponymous debut in 1997 they reduced their list of instruments to minimum: the following v.2.0 was created by the duo. Paralaksa have their trademark in Kamiński's analogue synthetizer Moog Prodigy and digital retro-keyboard Nord Electro - its specific sound sometimes evokes the psychedelic 1970s era. Both musicians prepare the sound of their instrumets by sampling, electronic modulation and processing which make them sound like a much bigger band.
