Talaash is a Vienna-based platform for young artists and researchers working on the South Asian Region. It organises public events, makes the work of young people available and visible to a wider audience, organises the exchange of knowledge and sets up breakfast meetings and Urdu and Hindi language classes. Started in 2008.
Talaash's main aims are:
- supporting projects, initiatives and ideas of young people in the field of arts and social science.
- exchanging ideas and knowledge across continents, to dismantle stereotypes of „Third World“ countries and citizens and making a global experience valuable for the European local context.
