Born 1944 in Holland. Studied at Technical College in Rotterdam, and Dept of Electrical Engineeringa at Delft University of Technology.
1984 Initiation of first computer graphics courses at Dutch artschool (Rotterdam School of Arts). 1984-1988 Board, Foundation for Creative Computer Applications. 1988 Member International Program Committee, FISEA. 1990 Member International Program Committee, SISEA. 1992 Member International Program Committee, TISEA. Member International Program Committee, FISEA'93. Since 1990 Chairman of the Board, ISEA.
The founding of the Foundation for Creative Computer Applications (SCCA), the International Symposia on Electronic Art and the Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts are all Theo Hesper's original ideas.
