Timothy Shipe is Arts and Literature Bibliographer and Curator of the International Dada Archive at the University of Iowa Libraries. He has his Ph. D. in Comparative Literature and his M.A. in Library Science from the University of Iowa. His research and publications have focused on the Dada movement in art and literature, and particularly on the bibliographic history of Dada. He was recently awarded the ACRL Coutts-Nijhoff Travel Grant for his research project "The Franco-Romanian Avant-garde in Bucharest Libraries." He edits the journal ''Dada/Surrealism''.
