Vanja Nikolić was one of the founding members of Multimedia Institute MaMa in Zagreb.

Nikolić was a peace activist and member of Center for Peace Studies before joining Multimedia Institute and other media-culture/activism related projects like CyberKitchen (with Zana Poliakof) of LABinary, Radioactive and Indy Media Croatia.
