The New Media Days is an interdisciplinary examination and educational project whose aim is to promote understanding of the impact of technology on culture and society and to present the most important trends in new media art.
The first edition of the New Media Days Conference was held on 20-22 November 2008 in Katowice and devoted to analyzing the influence of Marshall McLuhan and the Toronto School of Communication theory on media studies.
