Amaia Castro

She has a degree in computers, a Ruby on Rails web developer and gnu/linux sysadmin at the company (a workers cooperative) she founded with two other women (http://www.dabne.net).

She has been involved with the Eclectic Tech Carnival since 2003, sometimes as organizer and sometimes as participant. She is a member of DevChix, Linuxchix and Systers.

Amaia was a member of wh2001/Cielito Lindo hacklab in Madrid until it closed in 2006. She has been a regular participant in the Hackmeetings in Spain since 2003.
