Cabinet (New York) is a non-profit quarterly magazine that aims to encourage curiosity about all aspects of culture. Far from signaling dilettantism, curiosity is here understood to be an ethical task-a concern for the world as it exists and could exist, a readiness to estrange ourselves from current social formations and their hierarchies, and a mode of listening to what we may otherwise miss.
