Eva Skopalová is a curator and art theorist. She is a curator of the Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art at the National Gallery in Prague. Eva Skopalová graduated in History of Art at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and Theory and History of Modern and Contemporary Art at UMPRUM in Prague. She has also held fellowships at L'École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris and at New York University. Her research focuses on the methodology of art history, particularly on the issue of non-linear time, whose perspectives she explores through exhibitions and art criticism. She served as the chair of the Věra Jirousová Prize for both emerging and established art critics. (2021, 2023)
