Jörg Stelkens
Jörg Stelkens, Dipl.-Ing. and Dr. Phil, * 1965, is an independent curator and software developer, as well as head of büro </stelkens> München, an office where he creates sound art- and software. He teaches computermusic at Munich University (LMU) and at the University of Newcastle (England). He is curator of the t-u-b-e gallery for radiophonic art in Munich, organizer of the symposium "Klangforschung" (Munich University) and lectures often in the field of media, Internet- and signal processing technologies. As software developer he creates customized technologies and contents for artists, museums and event producers. In 2003 he finished a dissertation on Internet-based Multi-User-software instruments for collaborative sound- and music-production.
