Oliver Lerone Schultz studied Philosophy, History of Science, and Ethnology. This is followed by research in Media Theory, with focus on Merleau-Ponty, McLuhan and D. Engelbart (Augmented Embodiment). He created the concept of trans-academic events like Mapping Anthropotechnical Spaces (2005), followed by work on Imagecultures (Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences), and is currently researching at Moving Image Lab (Leuphana), and co-curator of Post-Media Lab. His activities include work in different independent media projects like globale-Filmfestival, laborB* and Visions of Labor.
