Yamila Ríos

Yamila Ríos (ES/NL) is a composer and performer whose work combines live electronics with sonic explorations on traditional instruments. In one of her main projects, Marcelino, she extends her cello by attaching different sensors to the body of the instrument that send data to a computer, allowing her to manipulate sound in real time.
