Young Artists' Studio
The Young Artists' Club (Fiatal Művészek Klubja) was an alternative art center located at 112 Andrássy Street, Budapest. The institution operated between 1960-1998. The idea of its creation was conceived in the KISZ KB and was taken over by the Metropolitan Council and later by the Municipality. For decades, it was a place for presenting officially challenged/rejected/unaccepted artistic phenomena and intellectual actions. It has hosted art exhibitions, music programmes and educational lectures. The Young Artists' Club also hosted the Béla Balázs Studio.
Between 1973-1976, László Beke worked there as curator.
Its successor is Trafó - House of Contemporary Arts, established by the Municipality of Budapest.
Since 2003, the former building of the FMK has been home to the KOGART House Museum.
