The create this conceptual visual text, Gülan used James Joyce's book 'A Portrait of the Artist as a Ypung Man'. Almost a century later, Gülan rewrote the text using online and offline software and published it in a total of 2 hours. Thus we may call this book a new media art piece. While appropriating the literary material the artist - whose name can be translated as a young man- played with notion of translation and its possible erosion on a language.
