Marcel Janco (Romanian name of Marcel Hermann Iancu) [last name also Ianco, Janko or Jancu] was Romanian and Israeli visual artist, architect and art theorist. He was the co-inventor of Dadaism and a leading exponent of Constructivism in Eastern Europe.
The Dada Mouvent
His last exposition as a painter was in 1939. After he left Romania for Palestina. [1] He will return in Romania in 1922 and together with Ion Vinea they will publish the Contimporanul magazine in Bucharest, that means 102 issues between 1922 and 1932.
