Mediamatic.net - New Media, Art, Culture, Theory. Cultural institution in Amsterdam. Organises exhibitions, presentations, workshops and other activities in Amsterdam and internationally. Mediamatic was established in 1985 as a meeting place for television- and videoartists and theorists.

Born 1986, internationally published quarterly about art and new media. From 1993 on Mediamatic was present on the internet and every Mediamatic Magazine was supplemented with a cd-rom, including cd-roms created by Gerald van der Kaap, Jodi, Doors of Perception and Florian Thalhofer. This series of cd-rom publications has been continued autonomously since 2000 as Mediamatic Off-Line, an irregularly series of cd-rom and dvd projects. The last edition of Mediamatic Offline appeared in 2007.
