Dana Tomečková (1986, Bratislava) studied metal and jewellery (prof. Karol Weisslechner) at the S+M+L_XL studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. She deepened her studies with a one-year stay at the National Academy of Arts in Oslo (prof. Jorge Manilla Navarrete). Tomečková works primarily with the object, installation and the nature of place. She creates ephemeral situations that are difficult to capture but easy to feel, perceiving space and its relationship to the body.
