Sarane Alexandrian (1927 – 2009) was a French philosopher, essayist, and art critic. Novelist, essayist, art historian, journalist (L’Œil, L’Express) and founder in 1995 of the avant-garde journal Supérieur Inconnu (Unknown Superior) Sarane Alexandrian, has published many books. From 1947, he served as the last secretary of André Breton and became an essential figure of the surrealist current.
