3/4 magazine was established in 1999 in Bratislava with the intention to map regularly the sphere of contemporary non-mainstream literature, visual and performing arts, music, film, alternative theatre, etc., especially artists and events in the Central and Eastern Europe. Originally a bimonthly, it has been published quarterly since 2001, with a stronger focus on art and technology.
