Anne Wellmer (1966, Konstanz) is a composer, performer, singer and sound artist based in The Hague. She studied classical voice in Mainz and Amsterdam (1990-93), electronic music at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague (1993-97) and composition with Alvin Lucier and Anthony Braxton at Wesleyan University (2001-03). Among her work are sonic environments for performances, sound installations, live music for dance and theater, radio art, music theater pieces, network projects and improvisation with electronics. Anne Wellmer lives and works in The Hague.
