DISK e.V. - Initiative Bild & Ton, Berlin's independent collective of artists and curators, founded in fall 2005. Produces and curates club transmediale festival.
Two major issues on the DISK agenda are: Projects and research about the correlation of sound and moving image and the engagement for an exchange between artists from Berlin and from Eastern and South-Eastern-European countries.
DISK is a co-founder of Inn.to, a cooperatively run building in the heart of Berlin, that accomodates artist studios and offices for cultural projects. DISK is a member of General Public, a non-profit project space located on the building's ground floor.
Members: Jan Rohlf, Oliver Baurhenn, Remco Schuurbiers, Marc Weiser.
