Expo-Destructo: post-media pressure was a one day event combining a series of talks to celebrate the launch of a new book 'README! ascii culture and the revenge of knowledge', and a public gathering of media activists, webzines, artists working in electronic media, troublemakers and plenty others: a post-media flea-market. Held on 20 March 1999 at Open, 144 Charing Cross Road, London. Realised by Backspace, Mongrel, I/O/D, Mute, Artec, B_Studios, Telepolis and the Next 5 Minutes.
