Ion Vinea, literary pseudonym of Ion Eugen Iovanaki, was a Romanian poet in the avant-garde movement. Co-editor (with Marcel Janco), of the Contimporanul magazine, that was the focus of Romanian modernism.

Life and work

Even from High school (St. Sava of Bucharest) he publish poetry with Tristan Tzara and Marcel Iancu in 'Simbol 1912' revue. After that he has a team around Contimporanul, that he leads bwtween 1922-1932, which is the main magazine for modernist and avant-garde writers.
