Sofia Boschat-Thorez is a researcher, artist and educator whose work focuses on knowledge organisation systems and their orientations. In particular, she examines archives, collections, datasets and museums to identify the material traces of the ideas and circumstances under which they were produced. Her practice also overlaps with the conceptualization and development of archival systems with an interest in variability, circulation, community, and access.

Sofia Boschat-Thorez studied Fine Arts at the ERG in Brussels and Media Design at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam.
