Lorna was founded 14th of March [[2002]]. Among founding members were [[Julie Coadou]], [[Margrét Elísabet Ólafsdóttir]], [[Ragnar Helgi Ólafsson]] and [[Haraldur Karlsson]]. Other active members include [[Skúlína Kjartansdóttir]], [[Páll Thayer]] and [[Hlynur Helgason]]. Lorna’s first public event was held at Vesturport Theatre in [[Reykjavik]] on June 16th 2002. Lorna also took part in the M-Cult Nordic Media Culture Research Project, gathering information on Icelandic actors in the field of new media. Lorna is actively campaigning for the foundation of a media lab in [[Reykjavik]].
