Sanne Krogh Groth holds a Ph.D. from Musicology, University of Copenhagen (2010). Her dissertation is a historical study on the Swedish electro acoustic music studio EMS during the 1960s and 1970s. Groth is MA in Musicology and Theatre studies (2003) with the thesis Sound Art — an art form in pictures and sound. She is Assistant Professor at Performance Design, Roskilde University and is chief-editor of Seismograf/DMT — an online magazine concerning Sound art and Contemporary music.
