Vladan Joler (1977, Novi Sad) is professor at the New Media department of the University of Novi Sad and leads SHARE Lab, a data investigation and research lab at the intersection between technology and society. In his own projects as well as collaborations such as Anatomy of an AI with Kate Crawford or Nooscope with Matteo Pasquinelli, mapping is used as a means of understanding complex assemblages. His most recent research focuses on New Extractivism and the invisible infrastructures of digital labour. (2023)
