Júlia Klaniczay (1954, Budapest) is co-founder of the illegal Artpool archive with György Galántai in 1979 and Director of the Artpool Art Research Centre in Budapest since 1992, which operated as a non-profit institute until 2015 and has been a department of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest since 2015. From 1977-1992 she was editor-in-chief of Akadémiai Kiadó, the publishing house of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Translator and author of numerous texts, participant in or assistant to many projects designed by György Galántai and realised within the Artpool context. (2018)
