Digital libraries and archives - Add acronyms for common OA resources?[edit]

I was wondering if we could add acronyms for tertiary links to Open Access (OA) resources? e.g. suggest:

  • Open Access Publishing in European Networks = OAPEN;
  • Meson Press = Meson;
  • Open Humanities Press = OHP

...and so on, etc. There are definitely heaps more OA resources like this, but I wonder if DB would allow these to be listed/added freely here?

Hi there, do you mean including them in bibliographic entries? Nice idea, OAPEN is also listed separately on the Monoskop Log, for ex. https://monoskop.org/log/?p=22693. However, I would suggest keeping the distinction between digital libraries and publishers. The name of the publisher is listed in the entry, so it might be sufficient to name the link "Publisher", followed by a link to its OAPEN entry, something like here: https://monoskop.org/Experimental_film#Blaetz2007 . dusan (talk) 09:11, 2 February 2022 (CET)
Oh, now I see, you probably mean the list of abbreviations. I have added OAPEN in there, if you have any other suggestions, please go ahead. But I would keep publishers out of it. There is another list on Monoskop Log where they are mixed, something to sort through.. dusan (talk) 09:19, 2 February 2022 (CET)
