The Centre for Audiovisual Studies (CAS FAMU) offers the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Audiovisual Studies. It conceives of the moving image as an interdisciplinary phenomenon that takes on various art forms in the context of cinema, gallery, public space and information technology. The study is based equally on theoretical and practical subjects.
Alumnis include Stanislav Abrahám, František Fekete, Anežka Horová, Michal Kindernay, Dalibor Knapp, Anna Kryvenko, Damian Machaj, Michal Mocňák, Lea Petříková, Alex Sihelsk, Matěj Strnad, Jonáš Svatoš, Klára Trsková, Vladimír Turner, Žil Julie Vostálová, and many others. (2025)
