Adam

Adam: revistă de orientare democratică was a magazine edited by Isac Ludo (1929-36) and Miron Grindea (1936-95). It was first published with texts in Romanian and Yiddish in Bucharest as bi-monthly, from April 1929, and as monthly from November 1939 until March-April 1940. From September 1941 (with an interruption in 1942-45) it continued to appear in English and French in London as Adam: International Review, first irregularly, then from 1966-95 as quarterly. At the time of his death, in 1995, Grindea was working on its 500th edition.
